Jill studies 19th and 20th century Irish literature and the modernist novel. She serves as co-chair of the English department's Poetry and Poetics workshop, is a Quality of Life chair for the Graduate Student Union, and will be a seminar participant in Princeton University's International Network of Comparative Humanities through 2014.
